STRAIL rubber level crossings are successfully performing with more than 10,000 crossings in many countries throughout the world since 20 years.
STRAIL is a semi-elastic highly durable surface for level crossings. The single full depth rubber pads are connected by a modular tongue and groove system and are fixed under pressure between the rails and the outerside. This system offers the possibility of fast installation and dismantling. Thus allowing the reduction of traffic disruption and minimising the costs. The STRAIL anti skidding surface ensures an increased safety through increased surface grip. A mineral grit bound chemically to the rubber makes this surface unique.

A special fitting to unusual tracks and interchanges is possible.
Customised designs to fit switch sections or particular track requirements are available.
The use of the STRAIL level crossing system contributes to the environment in a variety of ways. The STRAIL panels are made of a special rubber mixture consisting mainly of recycled rubber from car tires and similar components. Therefore STRAIL panels can be re-introduced into the production cycle after their use. The development of noise from the crossing road traffic is reduced considerably by the use of STRAIL.
